Kennedy Point
Kennedy Point is a narrow finger of land with lovely beaches and stunning views on both sides. Conveniently located for the Half Moon Bay vehicle ferry, it is also just a few kilometres from the passenger service connecting to central Auckland.
The vineyard at the Point is certified organic and beautifully situated amongst a stand of ancient pohutukawa trees. Imagine whiling away an afternoon sampling superb wines over a tasting platter, high above the sparkling Gulf waters. For a more energetic island experience, the shops at Surfdale and the village of Oneroa with its cafés and galleries are a short distance away.
Kennedy Point is a great place to base yourself for exploring Waiheke Island or you could just relax in your boutique accommodation with a selection of the island's artisan produce and enjoy life's simple pleasures.
