Positioned for sun and supreme views, this original 40's bach has been superbly renovated to capture the essence of it's time whilst offering understated luxury in the most idyllic spot on the Island. With all day sun and stunning sea views northward across Oneroa Bay, The Black Cottage is sure to impress. Everything is brand new and well appointed with quality fixtures and furnishings throughout ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Beautiful Oneroa beach, cafes, shops and galleries are all within 5 minutes walk of this lovely holiday home making it an ideal base to explore beautiful Waiheke Island or accommodation choice if you are attending a wedding or function at nearby Mudbrick or Cable Bay vinyards.
Enter The Black Cottage through a lovely sheltered outdoor entertaining space featuring lounge seating and a BBQ. The kitchen/living areas are open plan and fully equipped with the panoramic sea views enticing you through bi-fold doors out to the front decks and lovely garden where guests can collect salad greens and herbs from the well-tended vege patch. The house has two beautifully presented master bedrooms (each with ensuite bathrooms) situated off the lounge and a gorgeous rustic bunk room which is accessed externally off the front deck. Kitchen facilities include a 2 burner gas hob and a microwave . Lounge facilities include a flat screen television with Freeview and a DVD player, iPod doc and WiFi. There are full laundry facilities at the cottage.
Bed Configuration: Bedroom 1 - queen bed, Bedroom 2 - queen bed, External bunk room - 1 single bunk
Please note: Premium linen hire is included in the rate. A $100 exit cleaning charge applies to each booking. The bunk room is accessed externally. The cottage does not have an oven.
Minimum stays: 7 nights from mid December to mid January, 3 nights rest of January and all holiday weekends, 2 nights at all other times.

Fantastic location, close to Matiatia ferry terminal. Awesome deck to lounge around on in the sun and enjoy the great view over Oneroa bay.
