The Villino at Cypress Ridge Estate
** Winter Special - Stay for 3 nights, pay for 2! ** Valid for stays through September 2017.
The Villino (or little villa) at Cypress Ridge Estate is set on a working vineyard and olive grove situated on the slopes of “vineyard valley” with spectacular 180-degree northern sea views over Onetangi Bay and on towards Great Barrier, the Coromandel and outer gulf islands. The Mediterranean style villa is nestled amongst brightly coloured terraced gardens, fruit and olive trees with lovely outdoor areas (including a spa pool and barbecue) where guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and privacy of the estate.
The Villino has one bedroom, a full bath with rain shower & bathtub and a small open plan kitchen/living area with wood burning stove. Large bi-fold doors open the house to the terraces and breathtaking sea views creating a beautiful open space.
Guests are welcome to explore the estate… have a walk through the olive grove and vineyard, enjoy the harvest from the large kitchen garden, find fresh eggs in the hen house, tramp through an acre of native bush with several 1000 year old Puriri trees or picnic in the shade of huge Pohutukawas overlooking the neighboring vineyards.
The property shares boundaries with several award winning vineyards and restaurants including Miro/Casita Miro, Stonyridge, Te Motu and Obsidian… making spectacular wine and food a short stroll away. A 10-minute walk down the hill leads to picturesque Onetangi beach with it’s 2.5 kilometers of white sand and a further 10-minutes down the beach leads to the local pub.
Come and experience the peace and quality of a country lifestyle combined with a beach holiday… all with quality wining and dining on your doorstep.

The views were amazing from every part of the Villino! The breeze was perfect when the doors were open to cool the place in the heat of the day. The location is walking distance to the beach, wineries, and a great restaurant! We would love to come back to stay again.

Great quirky, individual cottage in a wonderful position, plenty of space and very well equipped. Kim was superb and couldn't be more helpful, we'll definitely recommend and may even be back! Thank you.

"What a gem...wonderful view over Onetangi, and the Miro/Obsidian vineyards...feels like a Tuscan/Chilled NZ mix. Had all the amenities you need...waking up with the bedroom doors open facing the sea will be a memory that stays with us Kim/Andrew are great hosts, and even their dogs (Max/Charlie) pop in to keep you company. We'd absolutely come back again."

A piece of paradise. The Villino is stunning and Kim is a wonderful host. Kim met us at the ferry when we arrived and then gave us a lovely tour of key sights on the way to the accommodation. Once there we found a wonderful villa, fully equipped with amazing muesli, yoghurt, fresh bread and home grown olive oil. The Villino is close to local vineyards and restaurants...a stroll on a Saturday to do wine tasting is recommended. Overall a fantastic stay....we will be back!

Magic! we had a wonderful time - fantastic views, very comfortable, everything you needed was there. We enjoyed all that was on our doorstep - the spa, petangue court, winery trail and the beach, Couldn't have wished for a better place to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Hope to stay again sometime

This property is just amazing. Stunning views and interiors to match. We loved lounging in the bay window, padding around the cool sandstone/concrete floors, sunning in the immediate gardens and nibbling the yummy locally sourced food. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful spot and the extra touches (picnic basket, beach bag, homemade foods etc etc) made our stay even more special. Perfection on Waiheke

The Villino is a wonderful villa looking over the vineyard next door and the ocean beyond. The hosts are fantastic and make you feel right at home. The fresh bread every day along with fresh eggs and bacon was a real treat...and also the wonderful olive oil!! We stayed for a long weekend and felt as if we had been out of town for a week...and its only 40 mins from the city. We had lunch next door at Casita Miro (2 min walk) and dinner Charlie Fridays. Awesome weekend..we will be back!
