Island Escape

Island Escape is set in one of the island's most sought-after locations, this idyllic renovated mid-century beach house boasts safe beaches, fantastic coastal walks and stunning views. Island Escape is a perfect holiday haven. Just a 150 metre stroll to the gorgeous beaches of Sandy Bay and Enclosure Bay - and Hekerua Bay via a lush track - this holiday home offers a tranquil and relaxing getaway.

The house has an open-plan layout in the living area with large bifold doors and a seamless indoor and outdoor flow; both the indoor and outdoor spaces are drenched in all-day sun. The kitchen and dining area connect to the main living area and the entire space opens out onto an expansive north-facing deck with outdoor furniture and stunning panoramic water views. The house is furnished with stylish art and furniture, and has all the modern requirements of wireless fibre and a smart TV.

The hallway leading from the living area leads to three bedrooms, bathroom and separate toilet. The main bedroom features a King bed, large wardrobes and a modern ensuite, and it opens on to a sunny private deck - again with to-die-for sea views. The second bedroom is set up for another couple with a queen bed. Next door is a third large bedroom with a superking bed - ideal for a couple - which can alternatively be split into two separate single beds if kids are staying too.

A stylish new cabin with its own private deck boasts a queen bed and bunk beds, available for a couple or family. Island Escape, Sandy Bay, can sleep up to 10 guests 

Bed Configuration: Master - king bed, Bedroom 2- queen bed, Bedroom 3 - super king bed which can be split into singles on request, cabin 1 - sofa bed, cabin 2 - queen bed and bunks

Things to note: 

• Rates are based on 6 guests.  There is a $50 per person, per night fee for over 6 guests with a maximum of 10 and a maximum of 8 adults.  
• A compulsory exit clean of $250 applies to each booking and a compulsory linen fee of $20 per person, per stay. Beach towels can also be hired for $5 per person, per stay.
•  Minimum stays: 7 nights from mid December to mid January, 3 nights rest of January and all holiday weekends, 2 nights at all other times.  
• All bookings require a $1000 cash bond payable 7 days prior to arrival.  
• There is a pizza oven available for guests however wood for the oven is not supplied.  Wood can be purchased from the petrol stations during your stay or our team can arrange this for you in advance of your stay.
