We absolutely loved our stay. We were there to totally relax and this cottage offers the chance to do this with being located in a wonderful position with an absolutely amazing view. It was presented in pristine condition and everything was provided that we needed. We will definitely be back to Waiheke in the future and will think of no where else to stay apart from the cottage.

Stunning outlook, close to beaches, amenities, vineyards yet private

This was the absolute perfect spot for our stay on Waiheke. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer space or a better view. The location is on point as well and makes it easy to walk into town. It was also well equipped with everything we needed

10/10 accommodation. We absolutely loved everything about the cottage. The bed was super comfy, the amenities modern and the view stunning. The little track to the village was only a 10 minute walk. If you like walking it is only a 3 km walk to Mudbrick Vineyard. We would definitely recommend

Had a great stay at Smith’s Cottage, great location, views and immaculate cottage. The views were great to enjoy a bottle of local Mudbrick wine and NZ cheese in the evening! Even better to wake up to. Thanks very much for the hospitality

A very well appointed and designed cottage with every modern appliance and furnishings, with the most amazing and spectacular views both day and night, for such a relaxing couple break. An easy walk through the bush down to the beach, which we did every day, and strolled the glorious Oneroa sandy beach chasing the tide. The fab five bays marked track was a fun day walk, to take in the beauty of this peaceful and fun island. But we used a rental car to explore the exquisite local wineries and a couple of their amazing restaurants. The locals were very friendly, and certainly made us feel very welcome as we took in the sights of this their island paradise. We would love to return, and we certainly loved our cottage stay

This property is beautifully designed and appointed, with stunning unobstructed views along the coast. Spotlessly maintained. Our stay at the Cottage Retreat couldn’t have been better. Excellent communication and follow-up from Stay Waiheke. We didn’t bring a vehicle to the island and enjoyed our walk (30 minutes) to the cottage from the ferry using the coastal track (steep steps in places), trips to Oneroa Village and accessing the local bus service. A wonderful spot to retreat to.
